Last Saturday was Club Rub's Casino night - and we had a fantastic time - as always! We didn't arrive until fairly late which is pretty typical for us lol, so the party was in full flow by the time we landed at the bar. I hadn't even had my first drink and Kim (the lovely lady who runs Rub) dragged me off to be filmed. They had people there who were making a film all about club rub, I think it's going to be put on to their new website when launches and anywhere else it's allowed to go on the internet too probably. So, sober as a judge I was pushed up on to the pole they'd brough in for the night and asked...or more like told...to dance! It was all very funny. So, the camera started rolling, the drinks starting arriving and the fake dollar notes started being pushed into my latex lingerie - an all round good giggle I'd say! I'll post a link on EmmaAlexa.com to the video clip when it's put on to the interweb.
At the same time I was being snapped by various photographers, one being David Medlin - you'll see the photo attached to this blog where I was giving him a lap dance :) Later on though he and I did some photos for fun on the pool table. I didn't realise how many he'd taken but he's put together a lovely, sexy set of photos for me which will be appearing here very very soon and will give you a taster of the types of nights out I enjoy! I hope to see you all out and about soon :)

A couple of weeks ago Richard and I spent a wonderful weekend in Surrey. We stayed at a friend's house...well they were more Kim from Club Rub's friends, but I guess they're ours now too! They have this amazing 200-300 year old mansion house and we spent the whole weekend doing photo shoots and getting drunk. Man life is so tough sometimes ;)
A while ago Kim asked Richard to take photos for her club flyers which will be used from July 09 to December 09 - and I'm on two of them :) So a couple of weeks ago we trundled off down to Surrey. I did one shoot for the Club Rub Rubber Awards which will be happening in September. I had to stand on some steps and act all uber goddess like whilst holding on to the chains of my two latex clad beasts. The final image is absolutely stunning even if I say so myself! But I do think it belies the truth of the experience though...Richard brought a smoke machine along and trying to coordinate posing, lights, wind and smoke proved to be somewhat tricky so we spent a lot of the time looking like kinky gorillas in the mist lol! I'm not allowed to put the final photo up on the site until it has been used for the flyer...but here's a taster photo attached to the blog.
That weekend Richard did four shoots - I helped out as his subby assistant for three of them...mostly with a hangover on the Sunday lol. After we'd finished the shoots on the Saturday we went into the local town and picked up fish and chips - it was great sitting into this very grand house, eating chippy chips! Then the party started. We all got drunk (there were seven or so of us), sat around gossiping and having a giggle...then we got some toys out! For the first time ever I tried a straight jacket on - and I have to say I liked it, I found it very calming; it made me feel safe but vulnerable at the same time - a very nice combo. at about 3am we all decided to put latex on (those of us that weren't already in latex)...then spent some time having a 'model off' lol...I did my model off wearing the straght jacket - that was rather amusing if not slightly eccentric hehehe...
So all in all it was a really fun, silly and fab weekend - and I have to say very stereotypically English - you know..."those nice folk down the road in the big house that have strange parties, dress up in weird outfits and play funny games with each other"...I thought it was the perfect kinky fairytale with truly lovely people. |

...When she's laid up for 3 weeks because she's had an operation?!! I sat here thinking "I really need to write a blog...but I haven't been able to do anything for 3 weeks...bugger". And then I thought, I must have amused myself somehow...so here it is! What a fetish model does when she can't do anything lol:
Sleep. Play on Farcebook. Play on Myspaz. Text friends too much. Sit in the back garden and get sunburnt because she put bio oil on her body to help heal her operation war wounds! Panic that everyone's going to think she was lying about being ill because she has such a fab suntan from getting burnt. Join Twitter and get addicted. Drink alcohol. Be sick from even sniffing alcohol (note to self - body not ready to party). Run up the phone bill talking to anyone who has a minute to spare. Plan shoots. Plan shows. Get frustrated that she can't do shoots OR shows at the moment. Moan about the bratty kids next door screaming at each other on sunny days - heaven help me, please give me one maternal feeling. Drink too much tea. Get frustrated because she can't dance around to Britney. Sit and look at all the house work that needs doing...and not do any of it :) Look at puppies to buy. Read. Play e-mail ping pong. Answers interviews for FixeMagazine - I'll blog about that soon. Looks at all her clothes she can't get into because she has a swollen tummy from the operation and looks pregnant. Vows she will never get pregnant. Tries her best not to get horny because even sneezing is painful - a 'big sneeze' would be a bit too bitter sweet! Paces, no, shuffles around the house like a caged tiger. Turns DOWN party invitations - bummer! Strokes her latex outfits and says "not much longer my lovlies". Decides the last comment makes her sound nuts. Decides she is going nuts. Molests and teases her Dom at every opportunity knowing he can't punish her because she's 'in recovery' :) Goes house hunting on line. Watches daytime tv. Ditches daytime tv after day 2 on the grounds that it turns your brain to mush. Thinks that if she could get hold of some drugs she could go on a whole trip without leaving the house. Decides that she does NOT advocate drugs...oops. Plays with her boobs. Looks at her brand new Kurt Geiger shoes that she can't wear yet because she still can't stand in heels. Decides life can't get much worse than the last comment. Realises she hasn't had chance to try out her new Mac makeup yet either! Spends too much time playing the extreme sport of 'thinking'...dangerous game that one.
Really? Is that all I've filled the last three weeks with?! Wow...no wonder I want to get out this weekend, I have new makeup and shoes to wear...watch out, here I come, ready or not! (Ready or not counts for you and I lol). |

Oh my goodness - I have just gone through one of the worst experiences of my life to date. I try not to write miserable or moaning articles here because I'd rather it be a fun and uplifting place to visit, but I can't help it on this occasion! Last Tuesday (the 7th) I started to get a really bad tummy ache in the evening so I went to bed thinking I'll sleep it off. After an hour of lying in bed in agony Richard asked if he should take me to hospital but there was no way I could move, so let the pain knock me out for the night. The next morning my tummy was really sore still, although the type of pain had changed, so Richard booked me an appointment at the docs. I turned up at the doctor's surgery at 1pm, stooped over like a little old lady, and climbed on to the bed to be poked and prodded and told that it certainly looks like appendicitis and that I need to rush off and see a specialist...guuureat. Now, some medical play I can probably enjoy, but get me around real doctors, hospitals, examination beds - anything truly medical - and I break out into hot sweats. So off I went to see the specialist at the Cromwell Hospital in London, I underwent blood tests and an ultrasound scan (they checked to see if I was pregnant - lol...Richard was with me and curious to see if anything waved back at him on the screen!). Then, after the tests came back and I was diagnosed properly with appendicitis they sent me up to the ward, at this point I hadn't had anything to eat or drink all day (it was 6pm by now) and was gasping for a cup of tea lol.
I am a complete coward when it comes to anything to do with surgery but I'd psyched myself up at this point that I would have to have an operation that night, but after being kept waiting in a surgical gown and stockings for three hours I was starting to climb the walls and decided that I wanted 'out'; going home in pain sounded like a much better option! Eventually at about 9.30pm they took me down to theatre and this is where the really horrible stuff started. I was put on to the bed and they put the big needle / drip thing into my vein, ok, I could cope with that as long as I didn't look. But as been as I was so stressed and had such a low blood sugar level from not eating or drinking anything - I am very sensitive to blood sugar - I couldn't focus on what all the people were telling me. Next thing they've put a mask over my nose and mouth that wasn't pumping out enough air for me to breath in, plus it kept sucking on to my face so I was suffocating. They mentioned I'd feel some pressure on my throat too, but the next thing I knew it felt like my throat had collapsed. At this point they gave me a premed to calm me down (a bit too late me thinks!) as I was really starting to struggle. Finally they put the sleepy stuff into my arm and it all went dark - thankfully. It was awful, I felt like I was suffocating and being chocked all at the same time...what kind of hospital experience is that? Even now I don't know what it was all about. The operation I had before was nothing like that, all very calm, no feelings of dying, just a fuzziness, darkness and then being woken up. I really don't recommend going to the Cromwell should you ever have the option.
Waking up was just as bad. When I came round I couldn't breath properly, it was as though my lungs wouldn't fill up completely. Apparently it's due to being pumped full of gases during the operation, they get trapped under your diaphragm which stops you breathing in completely. However no one bothered to listen to me to understand why I was panicking and pass on this little gem of information, not until I'd been lying there for a while. Then eventually when the nurse came to collect me and take me back to the ward she asked if she could see where the dressings were. Next thing they whipped back the blankets to show her, in my haziness I realised I wasn't wearing any underwear - of course this started my whole upset again. The feeling of being so out of control with people you don't know and on public display was just awful. If I'm going to have my bits out on show I prefer it to be when I've chosen! There was no privacy at all, anyone walking past could see all they wanted.
I feel I want to put this information up here for people to read so that should any of you find yourselves in hospital you can be clear with them that you DON'T want or expect this type of experience! I know it may all be routine to them, but these situations are not routine to the people going through them so they should be a lot more sensitive.
Anyway, just my check up to do now with the surgeon...time for the panic attacks again lol. Hopefully I'll be back to normal soon and able to stand up straight lol. Thankfully it was all keyhole surgery so there won't really be any scars...but then that's probably some people's kink :) Luckily we got a couple of good shoots in the two weeks prior to this whole commotion so there will be some updates on the site as usual!
OK, enough of the moaning - but I think it's an important moan as health care is serious and people shouldn't get away scott free. But I'll try and find some happy cheery stuff to write about next! xxx

Hi everyone,
Richard here - just a quick note to let you know that Emma was taken into hospital rather rapidly last week, to have her appendix removed. I'm glad to say the operation went well and thank goodness they were able to do it via keyhole surgery, so no big scars. She's recovering well now at home, but still in quite a bit of pain and not quite up to going online yet. She'll post about it herself shortly I know but I wanted to let you know why you might not have heard from her in a little bit!
All the best, and I hope you're having a good Easter!

I had a fab night on Saturday, the original plan was to do a shoot with a fetish friend and her photographer husband and then Richard and I would head out to Subversion, but the shoot turned out to be so much fun we didn't quite make it to the club!
We are friends with Pete and Fiona on Deviant Art and this weekend they travelled from their home town in Ireland to London to one, do a shoot and two, watch Arsenal play! As I'm not a football expert I won't get into a debate here and now about their choice of team...but as a Brummie at heart I have to say that I don't share their view!! Moving on...lol
They came to our house to use our small but highly useful studio. After 'the boys' had sized up each other's cameras and talked gadgets, and the girls had looked at Fiona's new latex dresses it was time to get ready. Pete and Richard set up the lighting (with some novel uses found for duct tape) while Fiona and I giggled our way up the stairs to apply make-up and squeeze into latex, of course we were accompanied upstairs by a bottle of rose wine :)
After a bit of debating over outfits we decided on black latex catsuits - always a winner as they're so versatile and lend themselves to all sorts of toys and accessories. During the night we brought out the floggers, crops, head harnesses (which I love) and the neon rubber floggers - which I hate and scream red at the sight of. Not only did we shoot with the toys but we played with them too, some toys Fiona hadn't tried, so I was only too obliging to demonstrate them on her, as a good hostess should be ;) Mind you, she wanted to try using them too lol. Quite a fun little play session all caught on camera. I really enjoyed feeling like a couple of little latex dollies; it was fun being dressed the same and playing up and Fiona was lots of fun and giggles...even if she was a scary switch at times!
I absolutely adore the pics with the head harness so I've put a couple here on my blog. I think the look is really pretty and may have to wear that out clubbing soon...hmmm, would cause drinking problems though...The full set will be arriving on EmmaAlexa.com soon! :) |
