So, as you may know I'm currently on holiday in the Maldives! It's the most gorgeous place, you may be wondering why am I sat at this coputer writing a blog when just to my left, outside the villa, is a wonderful tropical beach?! I think I have to agree and say I'm asking myself the same question lol...but then this place is so wonderful that I feel compelled to come here and tell you all about it. Plus I have some piccies that I'd like to put up here in my blog that are too naughty to go on the likes of Facebook and Myspace...so here I am :)
We actually come back this weekend (boooo!) we start flying back on February 14th - Valentines Day on an aeroplane - rubbish! And I so don't want to leave this place. We've been scuba diving and seen 6ft long nurse sharks, tuna, tiny baby rock fish, reef sharks...hell, we even went skinny dipping last night in the lagoon until I spotted a reef shark that wasn't making just a B line for us, but he was coming to check us out! Skinny dipping lasted all of ten seconds lol, we then decided to go for a midnight stroll around the island which at that time of night is deserted and is when all the best wildlife comes out to play. It turned there were tens of reef sharks in the lagoon and giant crabs - I swear they were man eaters and WAY more scary than the sharks!
We've spent endless hours snorkelling and feeding bread to the fishes - one, to entertain me (I totally revert to excitable kid mode when in nature!) and two, so that Richard could get some cool underwater snaps of the local flora and fauna. At one point this did result in me having my nail chomped by an over enthusiastic feeding trigger fish. Actually they are smart little critters, they figured out that if they go for your fingers then you drop the bread and they can have it all to themselves! And I'm not kidding you, they might only be the size of your hand but they have pirana like teeth and they're not afraid to use them. After feeding them and being 'de-manicured' we read our little 'fish of the maldives' booklet and found that these fish were flagged up with little red dots to warn you that they're dangerous lol...mental note to self, read instruction booklet first.
So it's been a busy couple of weeks with photoshoots, scuba diving, snorkelling, eating, reading books, kinky sex, sunbathing, midnight strolls, wildlife spotting, shocking the neighbours and everything in between! I shall now go and post a little blog about the shoots...with a little selection of some photos - the more naughty ones ;)
